Professional Experience
Carlos joined Hoet & Partners as Patent Manager during 2003. Before joining the firm, Carlos was a consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization in patent-related matters in Argentina, Paraguay, EL Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica; He was Patent Director at the Venezuelan Patent and Trademark Office and a Patent Examiner in the areas of Organic Chemistry, Pharmacy and Petrochemicals; and an Advisor during the drafting of the Andean Manual of Procedures for Patent Applications.
